I'm delighted to say I am now certified with the iRest Institute as an iRest teacher.
From managing stress and difficult emotions, to experiencing more fully the beauty of life, iRest Yoga Nidra offers a simple, powerful, and timeless practice for feeling fully alive and at peace in the world.
Through these experiential Taster Workshops, together we’ll explore an introduction to iRest Yoga Nidra in ways that you can apply to everyday life. A 6-week iRest course will follow the 2 Taster Workshops but attending a Taster Workshop is not required for enrolling on the full course. Although I often bring a Yoga Nidra practice into a class or workshop, I am particularly excited about sharing all that this practice has to offer, both at these Taster Workshops and in the subsequent 6-week Course.

iRest has been developed over 40 years by Dr. Richard Miller and associates, and draws on the ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra (‘sleep yoga’). Yoga Nidra can be considered as a meditative heart of yoga and iRest has adapted the teachings to the conditions of modern life. Research has demonstrated how iRest, as educational technique, can effectively alleviate anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, depression, PTS and chemical dependency.
iRest Yoga Nidra can be be practiced by anyone, regardless of physical ability or experience with meditation. Once learned, iRest becomes a set of tools for life.
The 6-Week course will run on the following Sundays at 7 -8.30pm:
